W A S H

Wash your hair the night before your appointment. If you frequently use hair products, wash your hair twice with shampoo to ensure it is super clean and free of product buildup. Avoid using conditioner near the roots as it will weigh the hair down. If you are hoping for a curly or wavy down-style and you know your hair doesn’t hold too well, try and avoid conditioner all together. Final rinse with cold water to seal in moisture and shine. 

D R Y

Hair should be gently towel-dried after washing and then blow dried to smooth the cuticle in order to have the hair set properly. Avoid any styling products. Simply blow dry the hair cuticle smooth using a brush with tension, directing the blow dry nozzle downwards from root to ends. It’s highly recommended not to straighten your hair after to avoid hindering the style. 

H A I R  E X T E N S I O N S

Clip in extensions should be washed, cleaned, combed and fully dry. Use the same cleaning methods as above but do so ahead of time. Hair extensions must be real human hair. Synthetic extensions are prone to tangles, frizz and cannot be styled with heat.

S E C U R I N G  T H E  B A C K

Need to get your hair out of your face before your styling appointment? Ensure you use something that won’t create creasing, or too much tension that flattens the roots. Suggestions to use are claw clips or silk scrunchies.

It is preferred that you provide a screenshot of the hairstyle you desire (Inspiration pictures can be found on Pinterest) so that we can jump right into the appointment but not always necessary.
